Perfect b&b, on the other day we stayed in Pillo hotel Galway (formely Mariott), which is 4 star hotel and Amber Heights rooms were definitely more luxurious, comfortable and nice, then the well recognised 4 star hotel was. Strong recomendation.

The cleanliness of the room and the b&b in general, the price of the room and the price of the breakfast, which was good also!

The owner is very friendly, the b&b is very cute and clean. We were in room 10 and still had a lot of room even with a crib for our baby. The room window is facing the street in the ground floor, but we couldnt hear any noise from the street. Of course the room was a little bit bright, even with the curtains, but that is the european way. Breakfast was good, they made the irish breakfast or just eggs if you wanted. Not a lot of choices but what they had was great! Shower was great. There is a beach near the hotel...about 10 minutes by car, very beautiful in the sunset. Would stay there again!

The staff was exceptionally courteous and the accommodations were wonderful. This is a great location with easy access to Galway, yet out of the center of the city.

Fabulous place! I have been to many BB’s in Ireland and this one gets the first prize, can’t say anything bad about it. Tasteful interiors very warm welcome and pet friendly place. Room was very cosy, clean and everything I needed was there, even European socket adapter, wine opener and little fridge, heaven! Traditional Irish breakfast for only €6 euro was perfect, tea/coffee facilities downstairs and in the rooms very helpful. I was bit concerned with wireless internet connection after reading one of the reviews but I have to say that it worked perfectly, very fast and stable. I wish to recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a 4 star place to stay, better than a hotel and far cheaper! The owners are doing great job there! I am definitely coming back!

Was not to sure what to expect, great welcome on arrival, room on ground floor which was great with small kids, fridge in room brilliant for keeping our picnic food cool overnight, and the extra bonus of a dvd player we did bring our own. The Lounge room an excellent idea as it was just beside our room, great place for families, hard go get.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortably sized for two adults. The room we had faced the street and had a beautiful view of the mountains. Very nice. Breakfast was excellent and had several good choices. The common lounge was well stocked with books, newspapers, games, coffee and tea in the afternoon, and two computers with internet. Such a nice place and people in a great location (Killarney). Killarney and the area was the highlight of our trip to Ireland.

Excellent stay on every level. Friendly staff, impeccable and well appointed rooms. Proper full Irish breakfast. Even with a small drive away to Galway city center, this is a great place to stay and I will recommend it to others.

The bedroom was of a good size very clean and well decorated. We had the full irish breakfast and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was run like a business, but still had a warm, friendly, homely atmosphere.
